Okay, played the demo a few times and here's what I like and dislike about it. Not too many dislikes though :)
Positives:
- Animations are amazing. Tackles are fluid and realistic, and fumbles are definitely fumbles.
-Passing ability. In the demo I played with both Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford. Both are different players in how they Quarterback, and this is shown accurately in their skill sets. Tebow is great at the short throws and has great running ability. Bradford on the other hand is a passer all the way. I was able to make sideline outs, deep passes over the middle, and all the throws.
-Pass Protection. I liked the ability to have a pocket if they weren't blitzing. Your tackles will push the Defensive ends wide, which is nice. Just watch out for a blindside hit after that!
-Running ability. Running will definitely be a feature this year, as you will need to have at least a competent running game to beat big time opponents. The pursuit by the computer is great, and I've only had one long run, and that was because they blitzed the wrong side.
-Presentation. It looks beautiful. The player models are accurate to their positions, and they are appropiately scaled. The crowd can really get into it, and I enjoyed the chants for the home team, which was OU. Mostly, it was wither O-U!!! or Boomer!- Sooner! Hopefully M-I-Z! Z-O-U! makes it into the game.
-Commentary. Erin Andrews is a very nice addition to the team of Corso, Herbstreit, and Nessler. I ran into a few new comments, so hopefully there will be more this year.
Negative:
-Pass rush. Even when I blitzed 8 guys, I could not get through the line at all, except maybe once. This against a Florida team that plays exclusively out of Shotgun. However, they have added the feature to use the Right Stick as a disengage move for the highlighted defender to beat the blocker.
-No Jump Snap or Lead Block. The ability to jump the snap was a great equalizer in the previous versions. You could get a good jump on them and actually have a chance to hit the QB. The lack of lead blocking is troubling, since it could help you make the critical block to spring the RB free into the open. I hope these are just not in the demo, as it would be severly disappointing to take a great feature out.
-Camera Angle. I can get used to the slightly closer camera, but I do not like the overhead view when looking at your play. It is too high and disconcerting. This also applies to the motion plays.
Overall:
This looks to easily be the best in the series by far on any platform, and if they can adjust and fine tune everything it will be a staple of Football fanatics until next years 2011. Or until Madden 2010 comes out :)

NCAA 2010 Demo Out!!
I'm so stoked the new NCAA Football 2010 demo is out. I'm downloading it right now, so I will post what I feel about the game shortly after playing it for a little bit. Here's to hoping for a pass rush!
