Unfortunately, J. Michael Straczynski is going to leave Thor in September after Marvel wanted him to tie his run into a unreleased event. J. Michael Straczynski did not want to do this, so his last Thor issue will be in September. It is unfortunate that his great run will be coming to an end, and it is also rumored that he would be leaving Marvel to go to DC, as he has wanted to write Superman for a long time. A new writer has not been named for Thor, or if it will continue at all. This is unfortunate because this could be 3 great titles Marvel could lost in a span of 3 months. The others being Paul Cornell's Captain Britain and MI-13 and Duane Swierczynsk's Immortal Iron Fist. Check back for more information later.
